~Keiko Kiapul 12.Aug.03 12:08 PM a Web browser Domino Server6.0Windows 2000
Hi all
I currently 2 working domino servers both running on 5.0.11. I have just installed and connected a r6 server. I had no trouble with the setup and was able to route mail between the servers with out problem at first. However when i came in this morning my users are unable to send mail to the r6 server from the r5, but they are able to send it from the r6 to r5.
Its got me well confused.
I did a trace and got these results
r5 to r6
trace w2ksvrmail
> trace w2ksvrmail
Determining path to server W2KSVRMAIL
Enabled Ports: TCPIP LAN0ip LAN1ip LAN2 LAN3
Checking normal priority connection documents only...
Local network connection document found for w2ksvrmail/nbs
Verifying address '10.201.30.100' for w2ksvrmail/nbs on TCPIP
and from r6 to r5
trace ntsvrmail
Determining path to server NTSVRMAIL
Available Ports: TCPIP LAN0tcpip
Checking normal priority connection documents only...
Allowing wild card connection documents...
Checking for NTSVRMAIL/IS/NBS at last known address 'NTSVRMAIL' on TCPIP...
Using address '10.201.30.40' for NTSVRMAIL/IS/NBS on TCPIP
Connected to server NTSVRMAIL/IS/NBS
So the servers are able to see it each other so i don’t understand what the problem is. When i do a tell router show I get this error message
7 Retry(13) SMTP CN=W2KSVRMAIL/O=NBS (Push)
Last error: The remote server is not a known TCP/IP host.
Next retry: 12/08/2003 13:15:32
